Lucinda Larson is known for her fine buttercream work, lovely gum paste flowers, and wonderful use of color. Lucinda owned and operated a custom order bakery for over 20 years. She has worked in the retail bakery and wholesale end of the business over the years.

Lucinda started cake decorating at the age of 14 and has been teaching since 1981. She has demonstrated at the ICES Conventions and Shows since 1989. 

Lucinda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Technology and Graphic Design, which she incorporates into cake decorating. Lucinda teaches classes and workshops throughout the US, & Canada.

Lucinda is a former Pastry Chef Instructor at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School of Seattle, and the Art Institute of Seattle, specializing in Wedding Cakes, Center Pieces, Advanced Cake Decorating and Portfolio, again incorporating her graphic design background, as senior staff member at Lake Washington Technical College for many years, a Chef Instructor, an Art Director for Just Desserts, Magazine, and a graphic designer for the Boeing Company. In addition to her 30 years of teaching and sharing, Lucinda has received many awards and best of shows; she was inducted into the Northwest Hall of Fame in April of 2012, and has been featured in many national and international magazines, TV, and on the cover several times of American Cake Magazine, and online classes with

Lucinda is very active in ICES; she is the Past Show Director of the Seattle 1990 Show, Past Committee Chair of the Portland 2001 Show, Past & Present Washington State ICES Representative, Past & Present Washington State Sweet Creators President, an author of Multi-Dimensional Floodwork, several pattern books, and a Beautiful Borders DVD.

Lucinda calls Bremerton, WA, USA home. She is married to her wonderful husband Steve; they have 7 children together, 4 girls, and 3 boys, ranging in age from 37 to 24 years of age, and 3 grandchildren.

Sandra Daggett is a “semi” self taught custom cake decorator, chocolatier,

a mother of 3 and most recently a retired military wife.

Sandra has been in the sugar arts industry for over 20 years. She has been blessed

to have been taught by some of the best in the sugar arts industry. With the knowledge that

Sandra has received she has then gone on to compete in several shows locally and

Nationally where she has won First place, Best of Divisions, Best of Show, People’s Choice,

Best of Borders and Best in Royal Icing Technique awards. Some of her pieces have been

featured in local newspapers, American Cake Decorating Magazine and several ICES publications.

Sandra Daggett is known for her Lambeth work and other forms of string-work, she currently

owns and operates Northwest Cakes located in Oak Harbor, Washington on Whidbey Island, where

she works as well as offers hands on classes. She was one of the first legal and state inspected home

based bakeries located in her area. From December 2015-February 2016, Sandra served on the

Cottage Food committee to assist in reviewing and revamping the Cottage Food Laws, which went

into effect by the Governor in February 2016.

Sandra Daggett has had the pleasure to serve on the Board of Directors for the Cake Decorators of Tidewater, in Virginia as Secretary from 2012-2013. She has been a member of ICES, International Cake Exploration Societe, since 2011. A member of WASSA, Washington State Sugar Artists, since 2014. As of May 2017, Sandra Daggett was voted in as the current President of WASSA. In August of 2017, Sandra, was voted by the other members of ICES in Washington state to be the state Representative.
